Final Reflection
Yesterday you had the opportunity to participate in the Talon Robot Showcase. This event was the culmination of 2 weeks of designing, building and testing your robots. As you think back over camp, what did you enjoy the most? If you had the opportunity to change something, what would you change and why?

I liked driving the robots and I would change the music we listened to because it was radio disiney

ReplyDeleteSomething I enjoyed the most was meeting new friends and creating robots. Something I would have changed would have been putting sensors on my robot because it would have been easier to program on the autonomous challenge because I had to count precise rotation so it would have been much easier to just say go until you see a blue block and turn 1.44 rotations and go back until the robot hit the wall and drop the block.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that I enjoyed the most about this camp was being able to drive my robot with a remote control because you can make it do something right then instead of programming the robot to do everything. One thing that I would want to change is being able to change our robot more to make it faster or make it stronger but other than that this camp was far better than the one I did last year and had so much fun
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoyed the most was the implementation of STEM into this program. Also it was a great way to challenge us to go into the robotics field. One thing I would change would be to have the incoming Technobots go over there to have them get a feel of what it would be like.

ReplyDeleteThe greatest thing i did was program the robot because i never program a robot.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun and hard because the 2 sensor for our sumo bot did not work so we did our best and the triathlon for swimming well i did do good for the first lap then it did wrong and can sweep we go 10 points and the shot put did perfect we got 12 points 3 x and got 36 points i was shock and happy so the next year im doing the nexy year again.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed lunch the most out of anything here(even minecraft didn't beat lunch!!!). If I had an opportunity to change something I would make my robot larger. I thought of this because during the sumo in Winter Haven, the final robots were large in size.

ReplyDeleteOver the last 2 week of school the most part enjoy was the building part.If i had the opportunity to change something i would change the fact that my sumo bot was light so it was most likely easy to push so i would change my sumo bot just to make it a little bit heavy. Why i would change my sumo bot is because i think if my sumo bot was a little bit heavy when i was in the final fighting with the other bot i would of won or it would of been a tie. :) Good Bye Talon Robotics :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy building robots and program them. if i had to change something it will be fixing my triathlon robot because the can sweep was a little off and the swim from the back wheel was going sideways. I really like the camp it was fun meeting new friends and having fun with the teachers and friends. I really loved the camp i'm coming next year. =) :)
ReplyDeleteI guess it was fun. We had to test our robots to see if they really work. We went to Winter Haven the college for the sumo bots and triathelon. We were there for the rest of the day until we are here.

ReplyDeleteThe show case was really fun my favorite part was the sumo one more win we couldve made it to the finals. The most of it was fun and i loved it.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I enjoyed the most is Sumo because it is competitive, amazing, and awesome. I would change the minecraft time limit because we want more time to play minecraft and have fun.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed playing minecraft the most. It was a lot of fun because we got to do it everyday. Everyday we would have a different task and we would explore a different world and learn new things. If I could change Something I would change the fact that I was not here friday because I would've gotten to work more. Also would try to work harder on triathlon.
ReplyDeleteThe most enjoyable part of camp for me would have to be playing Minecraft. It was the most enjoyable part of camp because my friend Sanji and I would always wok together to solve our problems in Minecraft. If I could change something I would change how hard work on the triathlon robot and worked even harder to be able to have successfully completed the can sweep challenge.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed building the robot and programming the robot over driver control and taking the robots apart. If I could change something I would spend more time learning how to use the remote more efficiently.
