Getting the bot done and programming it to do cool things. I will share that we are building VeX iq.

ReplyDeletetoday was quite fun. we played a few get to know games and begun the building of our bots. im so excited i just want to finish and test already. the wrinter haven campus is the best

ReplyDeletewhen i first came here i thought this is going to be boring but then i found out that the food is grate the projects are amazing and best of all i love this summer camp. go talon robotics.

ReplyDeleteThe food was great and i learned how to build a vex robot better than before. I'm excited for the rest of the program and look forward to the rest of it.
ReplyDeleteI am very excited for the sumo-bots because I have an amazing idea for my bot. I will share about the variety of activities that we will be doing in this camp.
ReplyDeleteToday was the first day of the Talon robotics, eagle-bots program at the Winterhaven campus, however it was still very enjoyable, and educational. First we took a pre-test to see which section we would be placed in. Then we started building VEX IQ robots in pairs, and learned all the procedures we will be using for the next days. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable experience, and I can not wait to come back tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI am most excited to learn all about robotics and learn how to program the robots to do cool things. I will also be telling my mom, dad, and close friends about my first day at the camp and why i enjoy it, so far.

ReplyDeleteI am most excited about tomorrow to able to finish the practice robot my teammate and I are creating. I am going to be so excited to be able to tell my parents about how my partner and I were able to get to step 20 out of 30 steps in our robot witch is more than anyone else completed. I can't wait to see the final result of the robot.

ReplyDeleteThe most thing i will be excited is making new robots and what i will share to friend and family is how fun it is and how the teachers help there student make the robots and go by step by step.Last thing i will tell them is who excited i was to step out there and see for the first time i got in there and what i was i was learning
ReplyDeleteI started building a task bot today! I also met new people and made new friends. I got a lot done and had a lot of fun. We had a good lunch and a really challenging excersize afterwards. I'm actually going to brag to my friends about this and how much fun it is. I learnt a lot about robotic in just one day. My instructors are really nice and know a lot about robotics. Today I also learnt about myself in the true colors test. I'm so happy that my parents registered me in this and I'm excited for the next few weeks!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteToday was a HUGE experience for me... I thought that doing robotics was very interesting. Not only that, I saw most of my friends from middle school here!!! GREATEST ROBOTICS CAMP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ReplyDeleteI think that building robots is amazing so far in the first 8 hours of the camp was amazing!!! I didn't know that building VEX robots could be so cool and easy. Also the food is the cafeteria is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteToday I got to use something for the first time, the Vex robot that i started building today was something out of my comfort zone which got me really exited along with other activities similar to last year's. I am looking forward tomorrow because i had a blast building for about an hour and tomorrow building for about 6!!! it will be awesome.

First when we saw the videos in the morning, I thought we were going to build those robots and was really excited but unfortunately we were not going to build those. I will tell my parents and friends about the experience here at the robotics camp and this will really help in my future as I plan on being an software engineer.
ReplyDeleteThere are many things to expect here at Talon as an E-bot on my first day. This year Talon Robotics will be celebrating 5 years. Congratulations! This first day has left me with 3 main expectations. The first expectation would be that it will be a way to grow on STEM foundation. This way it would increase my and my peers knowledge...as stated in PCSB's slogan,"Knowledge is power." Another expectation would be the variety and versatility of this program. Which allows a student to cover all aspects of STEM. Lastly, it will provide enhancement to the future engineers,inventors,and scientists of tomorrow.

I am very excited about the robots we are currently building. Also the learning and opportunity to be here at talon. We learn new things about robots and ourselves.
ReplyDeleteOur first day was such a trill!!! We did many fun filled activities and learned many things too. We've started working on our robot this afternoon and I can't wait to get working on it again tomorrow.

The program was interesting and awesome at the same time but it was also fun.The best part was when we got to build robots and soon we will be able to control them.
ReplyDeleteThis camp so far is great. The curriculum is actually fun and the lunch is good, I had a cheese burger with lettuce, fries and Sprite. We are in the process of building a Lego robot. Me and my partner have the most progress out of everybody.
