  2. A pro gram when you will need a loop in a white line so they don't go past it

    ReplyDelete
  3. So it can repeat the program

    ReplyDelete
  4. when you are making the robot go over and over so they can do what it says on the compytere

    ReplyDelete
  5. in sumo you need loops because it has to repeat over and over again you need at least 1 move and that will repeat.

    ReplyDelete
  6. the program needs a loop because when you make a robot then you want it to do the same thing over and over you make a loop

    ReplyDelete
  7. When the robot has to do something over and over to what the computer says on the pogram

    ReplyDelete
  8. You use the loop to repeat a step when needed, in Sumo. It needs to loop when things need to be repeated.

  10. You use a loop block to repeat. You use a loop block when you have to move forward move forward move forward etc. For example, you can use a loop block for sumo wrestling. You need a loop in sumo to make the robot repeat its actions.

  11. I would use a loop when I am trying to make something happen over and over again. A perfect example of this is with my sumo bot. I want my sumo bot to keep pushing forward if it is on the black area. the light sensor keeps checking all the time probably faster than we can think. It is also checking for the white area at the same time. If the reflected light is above the threshold value it will tell my robot to back up and then when done it loops back to the move forward because it is reflecting less light on the black. It needs to loop because it should be checking all the time and I don't want to have to write a super long program. I just tell it to check infinitely in the loop and the program is much shorter and easier to use.

  12. when you are programing a robot with lots of task is when you use a loop block like sumo event. The program needs an loop because it spreads out time and if it has to skip to another task like for example if the bot sees the white line it has to stop and go back and start to look for .the black

  13. You use a loop block so it will go over and over again.

    ReplyDelete
  14. We need the loop because the loop goes to the start to the end and go back to the start so we need the loop.

    ReplyDelete
  15. u need the loop block to repeat what it needs to repeat

    ReplyDelete
  16. you will use a loop block when you want some to do it again.I will use in swing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. a loop block is a special block to repeat the program infinitely until the program is aborted.

    ReplyDelete
  18. so it can check or do it again

    ReplyDelete
  19. to do your program again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again

    ReplyDelete
  20. an example for a loop block my robot is it helps it move and i will use it to help the robot move the right way.the program to to loop because if it don't have a loop than robot won't function right.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I use a loop block for my robot when I want the robot to continuously do a task. I use a loop in sumo so I wont have to continuously copy the same task and risking the robot stopping during battle.

    ReplyDelete
  22. when you use a loop block you are repeating a step and you can use a loop to sumo.

    ReplyDelete
  23. we use a loop block when we are transporting one block to a area and exit and we use them in those situation like search & rescue. we use them in a grab and go event. The program needs to loop so the same entrance can be looped to get out. this place is fun and if people other than staff principle are reading this then sign up now.

    ReplyDelete
  24. we are using the loop block to grab many blocks that are in a line. The program needs to loop because it does the same thing 4 times.

    ReplyDelete
  25. you would use a loop block when you have to do the same thing multiple times in one challenge. i used it mostly in mini programming challenges. its a lot less programming when you use the loop.

    ReplyDelete
  26. We use a loop block for a robot to repeat a program over and over again like for it to go back and forth picking up objects you would program it once and put a loop block

    ReplyDelete
  27. When we would have to do something two times an don't want to copy and paste you could go and put a loop block.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Today we learned about how to loop our commands using a loop block. A loop block allows a program to repeat until the set time you say. This could be useful in the triathlon Cup challenge, because you just need to do the same thing over and over. If you didn't loop it, you'd just have to write the program over and over.

You use a loop block when you want your robot to redo the program. You can use a loop block when doing thew sumo challenge because if you just do a program once or twice your bot will stop in the middle of the round and you will lose.

    ReplyDelete
  32. You need a loop block for like events like sumo so when you don't see the other competitor your robot goes in circles until it sees it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. when you don't want it to stop sumo yes it does need it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. You use a loop block when you are doing sumo

    ReplyDelete
  35. when the program that the robot is carrying out needs to be repeated

    ReplyDelete
  36. The program needs to loop when your robot is fighting another robot so it can keep fighting at a patern.

    ReplyDelete
  37. for space because it needs to be repeated many times.

    ReplyDelete
  38. You should use a loop block when repeating a certain amount of steps multiple times like getting 5 blocks that are in a row it would need to do the steps 5 times over so the blocks all get moved to their new position.

    ReplyDelete
  39. when you need something repeated.

    ReplyDelete
  40. In sumo-bot wrestling you would need to use a loop block because you would want your robot to do it forever until you or the opponent has won.

    ReplyDelete
  41. We used the loop block for the sumo challenge because it needs to do the same thing, until it wins or loses.

    ReplyDelete
  42. When you need your robot to do a certain action over and over again, you can easily put the action in a loop instead of having to remake it yourself over and over again. An example would be if you were programming your robot to go forward until it sees a certain color line and when it gets to the line it should make a noise, then keep going. If you needed your robot to repeat this action, you could use a loop and you could also set the loop to repeat a certain amount of times.

    ReplyDelete
  43. You would want to use a loop block to repeat a program. You use a loop block when you need a robot to repeat a function like locating another robot for sumo bots. Programs needs loop so it can repeat their function

    ReplyDelete
  44. YOU WOULD USE A LOOP BLOCK DURING A SUMO BATTLE BECAUSE YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR AN ENEMY BOT TO BATTLE AND THEN NOT FALL OF THE BATTLE CIRCLE

    ReplyDelete
  45. you use a loop block when you want to repeat something,

    ReplyDelete
  46. A loop is needed to repeat again and again.

    ReplyDelete
  47. You would use a loop block to repeat an action that needs to be done more than once, which simplifies the coding and takes less time than writing out each of the loops. This is used in many different activities and many programs in the real world.

    ReplyDelete
  48. A loop is mainly used to do everything in the beginning again. I use the loop to help my robot fight in battle. It is right now used mostly for sumo bots.

    ReplyDelete
  49. You will need a loop when you need you robot to do the same tasks a number of certain times. like when you are going to use a robot to sort though something it need to go over and over again.

    ReplyDelete
  50. When you are programming your robot to drive until it reaches a white line, you need to loop until it finds it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. When you are programming your robot to drive until it reaches a white line, you need a loop until it finds the white line.

    ReplyDelete
  52. for any repeated action or actions

    ReplyDelete
  53. I would use a loop block when I want something repeated over and over again for a specific task .It would need to loop when ever said specific task should be meeted

    ReplyDelete
  54. you could be using a loop block for a repeating matter so you don't have to drag and drop the same thing over and over again making it easier for you, for example if you want to go in circles you can use the loop and inside it program your robot to go on 1 circle then the loop will repeat it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The event is when you want it to be done at a specific area. It would be so that it can preform the task as a "if/then" code.

    ReplyDelete
  56. We use a loop block in our program so that a specific program can be repeated. We use it when we need a program to be repeated a specific number of times. We would need it when we are programming it for our sumo robot when we have to make the robot keep circling until it sees the other robot. This program needs a loop so that it can keep circling to look for the opponent robot and when it finds it then it goes for it. But until then it has to keep circling.

  57. An example of when I would use a loop block to program my robot is to repeat the same program over and over again is in one of the virtual worlds I did and so I just put my program to repeat 3 times and then go backwards all the way back to the start.

    ReplyDelete
  58. A light sensor when you are doing the event sumo. So the robot doesn't fall of the edge

    ReplyDelete
  59. The example we used this morning we said if the robot wanted to drop it like it is hot. If the sensors detected black it would loop and keep doing that until it is the line is white

    ReplyDelete
  60. You need to use a loop block when you want something repeated

    ReplyDelete
  61. I used a loop block for sumo because the robot needs to keep repeating the program I made for it. If i didn't put the program in a loop block the bot would only do the program once.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You use a loop block for having your program to go infinite. You use loop block for Sumo. It needs to loop because your program needs to go infinite so in doesn't stop and the other person wins.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I had used a loop block in swim and in sumo. In sumo, I would use it in a sumo tournament(mostly). The program needs a loop because it will keep going and without it, you have less room to program and you will lose in sumo. I would use it to repeat something.

    ReplyDelete
  64. A loop block is needed in the sumo competition to make your program repeat. This is needed so your robot will not stop in the middle of the competition because if the robot stops in the middle of the competition it will be defeated.

    ReplyDelete
  65. sumo because your bot will acheive

    ReplyDelete
  66. the reason why the robot need a loop block get so it can do the same thing over and over .

    ReplyDelete
  67. When you use A loop block it will make the robot go forever.when you need to use it is were you are in A sumo bot battle.the event you use it in is A sumo bot competition. Why you need to use it is to program it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. we need a loop block for sumo and we need it the day of the competition.

    ReplyDelete
  69. We would need to use it for sumo.

    ReplyDelete
  70. it needs to repeat the program we put a loop on yah

    ReplyDelete
  71. We need a loop block for the Sumo so it will report for the competition.

    ReplyDelete
  72. We will need a loop block when where doing the Sumo Challenge And will need it the day of the showcase.

    ReplyDelete
  73. We use the loop for a certain block from other robots that come at you.

    ReplyDelete
  74. a loop is used to repeat the things u put into the loop. i used a loop in the sumo event. the sumo robot needs a loop so it does not stop in the middle of the match to help you strugglr out of something
