  1. A point turn is when a two wheels go at 2 different directions to form a turn. A swing turn is when one motor moves to from a turn. A point turn is best to use in a narrow hallway because it is m ore precise as you would need a precise turn in a narrow hallway.

  2. A point turn is when all the wheels move to turn, a swing turn is when only one side of wheels move. A point turn would be better in a narrow hallway.

  3. the difference between a swing turn and appoint turn is simple with a point turn both wheels move but in different direction. a swing turn moves only one wheel. you should use a point turn in narrow hall way

  4. A point turn is when the robot turns and stays in the same position. A swing turn is when the robot turns and moves in a different position. You would want a point turn to not hit the wall.

  5. A point turn because in a narrow hallway.A point turn is when you turn but you stay the same way just facing a different direction. Today was awesome like usually.

  6. The difference between a swing turn and point turn is that a point turn only uses one wheel to take a turn but a swing turn uses both wheels to make the robot turn. I would use a point turn to make a turn in a narrow hallway because you don't want to move to the side any more than you want to

  7. Today we learned about the two different types of turns, Point turns, which uses two engines, and swing turns, which uses one engine. While swing turns are more precise, point turns take less space and move quickly, making it better for a hallway.

  8. A point turn is when the right(or left)wheel moves forward & the left(or right)wheel moves backward. So,a point turn is better in a narrow hallway. A swing turn is one of the wheels move to turn

    ReplyDelete
  9. a point turn is when a motor moves backwards and the other moves forward to turn and not move places while a swing turn is when a motor doesn't move and the other one moves forward moving the robot to a different position. if you ever wanted to turn in a narrow hallway a swing turn would make you crash but a swing turn would make you stay in place and turn.

    ReplyDelete
  10. point turn has two running motors and swing turn has one. point turn because its basically like a spin

    ReplyDelete
  11. A point turn is when a robot turns in one position, a swing turn is when a robot turns while in motion. A point turn would be used in a narrow hallway because its more precise

    ReplyDelete
  12. A swing turn would not work well in a narrow hallway. A point turn would be more suitable in that condition. Today me and my partner are already about to finish our EV3 SumoBots.

    ReplyDelete
  13. the difference is a point turn is one motor and a swing turn is 2 motor the best would be a swing in a narrow hallway because it turns easier

    ReplyDelete
  14. a point turn is when both wheels move to turn. A swing turn is where just one wheel turns and not both. In a narrow hallway, it would be best to use a swing turn so it will be as narrow as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  15. point turn is when the wheels go opposite directions and a swing turn is when one set of tires move.

    ReplyDelete
  16. a point turn stays in place and turns a swing turn one tire moves faster than the other in the same direction. a point turn is best in a narrow hallway because it does not need a wide area to turn

    ReplyDelete
  17. The difference between a point turn and a swing turn is that in a swing turn , one wheel moves and the other one doesn't, a point turn is when one wheel moves forward , and the other backward. The point turn would be better in narrow hallway because it makes a tighter turn, which is essential to a narrow area.

    ReplyDelete
  18. A point turn uses both motors in the opposite direction. A swing turn uses one motor and only uses one wheel. The point turn is best because its for tight spaces.

    ReplyDelete
  19. A point turn swings on a dime, and a swing turn swings on a looser turn.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The difference between a point turn and a swing turn is that a point turn is a tight turn when a swing turn is a little wider that a point turn. A point turn would be best to use in a narrow hallway because it turns tight and a swing turn could hit the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A point turn is when only one wheel moves to turn but the other one doesn't move. A swing turn is when both wheels move to make a turn. I believe that a point turn is a better turn to use because it makes a sharp turn only one wheel moves and it would not need much room to turn in a narrow hallway.

    ReplyDelete
  22. A swing point one tire is stopped and he other is on.A point turn the two wheels are on.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The difference between a swing turn and point turn is the angle of turn.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The different is that the point turn is different to the swing turn because the swing turn is the one wheel not move the other wheel move.

    ReplyDelete
  25. a point turn is when one wheel moves forward and the other moves backwards and a swing turn is when one wheel moves forwards and the other one stays stationary. The point turn will be the easiest to use in a narrow hallway because the robot stays stationary and the swing turn, the robot moves while its turning.

    ReplyDelete
  26. a swing turn is a turn where one wheel stays put and the other wheel does a circle around the stopped wheel and a point turn is where it does a simple circle like a ballerina doing a quick turn in circles. in a narrow hallway a point turn is the best because just like in the name a swing turn is going to swing and take more room where a point turn is to turn in a certain point that wont take as much room.

    ReplyDelete
  27. one stays in the same spot and the other does not

    ReplyDelete
  28. the difference between a point turn and a swing turn is the swing turn works by one wheel staying still and the other turning around and a point turn works by one wheel turns the other way which creates a very tight turn

    ReplyDelete
  29. The point turn is more neat and clean and the swing turn is just a turn. The point turn would be best to use if the hallway had a 90 degree turn but if it was more of a curving turn the swing turn would be better. :D

    ReplyDelete
  30. A point is one wheel go back and the other go forward and a swing is when one is locked an the other is turning. You would use point turn.

    ReplyDelete
  31. A swing turn is when one motor is stationary and one motor is moving. Point turn is when one motor goes forward and the other motor goes backwards. A point turn would be best in a narrow hallway because then the bot doesn't have to have much space for a turn.

    ReplyDelete
  32. A swing turn uses 1 motor to make a wide turn. A point turn uses 2 motors to make a tight turn.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Today was great and we are progressing greatly. We now know a lot of things to help us in programs. Such as how a point turn spins in one place and wheels move in opposite directions and a swing turn is a wider turn where one wheel moves. The point turn would likely be better in a narrow hallway.

    ReplyDelete
  34. with a point turn the bot gose strat and with a swing turn one moter is one and the other is not.

    ReplyDelete
  35. A point turn Is a point between the wheels of the vehicle, While A swing turn is when The radius is wider than the distance of the wheels.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The difference between a point and a swing turn is a point turn the motors go in opposite direction, while a swing turn one motor stays stationary while the other one moves.(0_^)

    ReplyDelete
  37. the difference between a point turn and a swing turn is that a point turn has the wheels turning oppisit direction while the swing turn has one wheel not moving and the other one moving.A swing turn would be a good turn for the narrow hallway because it does not turn over and over like the point turn.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Swing turn is only with one wheel and the other turn is one wheel forward one backwords

The differents between both of them is that the both wheels move with the bot and the swing turn is when just one wheels moves. The point turn would be what I would use because it would do a smaller turn.

    ReplyDelete
  40. A point turn using 2 motors and a swing turn uses one motor.A point turn would be the best for a narrow hallway because the wheels turn in two opposite directions.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Point turn is a wheel is going forward and the other wheel is going backwards a swing turn is when a wheel is still and the other wheel is rotating

    ReplyDelete
  42. A point turn is one wheel going back and one going forward.A swing turn is one wheel is lock and the other one turning.

A point turn is when one wheel is stationary, and the other wheel is moving, this is great if you need to cover a great area and it is very accurate. A swing turn is when one wheel goes forward, and the other wheel goes backward, it is useful for a more narrow place, but it isn't as accurate even though it moves very quickly. After comparing and contrasting them, a swing turn will be more useful sense it does not cover as much ground a point turn, and it is very quick if the narrow hallway is in a horror movie.

  44. A point turn is a turn where both wheels spin in opposite directions. A swing turn is a turn in which one wheel goes forward/backward and the other remains unmoving. A point turn will be best in a narrow hallway because you wouldn't have enough room for a swing turn.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The difference between a point turn and a swing turn is that a point turn is a very sharp turn in its own space without moving forward or backward while a swing turn is a turn with moving forward or backward. In a narrow hallway, a point turn is better because you wouldn't have that much space to turn so you would rather take a sharp turn without taking any more space than the one that you already took.

  46. a point turn one wheel is stationary and the other turns.in a point one go forward and the other go's backwards. it would be better to use a swing turn in a narrow hallway cause it is accurate.

    ReplyDelete
  47. a point turn is a turn using both wheels
a swing turn is the opposite

  48. Today we learned that a point turn is when one wheel moves one way and the other wheel moves the other way but a swing turn is when one wheel stays still and the other one moves. When in a narrow hallway its best to use a Point turn because it turns in one place.

    ReplyDelete
  49. a point turn is when you turn and stop and a swing turn is when one foot turn and then the other one foot turns. I think the best turn for a narrow hallway is point turn because the robot have to make it to the end so if it just turn and and got it will go straight to the direction.

    ReplyDelete
  50. a point turn is when the wheels turn defferent ways a swing turn is when it one stops and one moves point turn moves better then the swimgturn.

    ReplyDelete
  51. the difference between a point turn and a swing turn is the point turn is when your bot is moving around a point. And the swing bot is not. An point turn would be best in a narrow hallway .

    ReplyDelete
  52. a point turn moves the robot at a certain angle a swing turn moves like the robot swings around.

    ReplyDelete
  53. today we learned what a arc, point and swing turns.the difference between a point and swing turn is that in the swing turn one wheel turns when the other one doesn't move.the swing turn would also be good in a narrow hallway.

    ReplyDelete
  54. a point turn is when a robot stays in one spot and turns ,but a swing turn when only one wheel moves. a point turn is good for in a narrow hallway because it uses less space to move.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The difference between point turn and swing turn is that the point turn is faster.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The difference between a swing turn and a point turn is that a swing turn is wider than a point turn. A point turn would be best to use in a narrow hallway because it is a smaller turn.

    ReplyDelete
  57. point turn between small place

    ReplyDelete
  58. point turn is when two tires go opposite ways to turn.swing turn is when only one motor is used to turn.arc turn

    ReplyDelete
  59. on a point turn the vehicle does a 360 and a swing turn has one tire on a point and spins a swing turn would be more useful because it takes up less space

    ReplyDelete
  60. the difference is that a point turn is turning in a point directions. Swing turn be in a different direction.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Lets say that motor c went forward and motor b went backwards that's a point turn. Also a swing turn is were only motor c goes straight. The most important turn is a point turn.

    ReplyDelete
  62. A point turn uses both motors, and a swing turn only uses one motor.
A point turn ,because it can go forward ,sraight and not sideways.

    ReplyDelete
  63. a point turn is when a robot stays in one spot and turns ,but a swing turn when only one wheel moves. a point turn is good for in a narrow hallway because it uses less space to move.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Point turn is when one tire is moving different ways. A swing turn is when one tire doesn't move and the other wheel is moving

    ReplyDelete
  65. The difference between a point turn and a swing turn is that a point turn use both wheels, one going forward and the other is going backward. A swing turn, however, only uses one wheel which is going straight. A swing turn would be best to use in a narrow hallway because it wouldn't be a full turn so you could move easier.

    ReplyDelete
  66. A swing turn swings on a pin point and a point turn will spin on the sinter of the bot. A point turn would be best.

    ReplyDelete
  67. A point turn is when you use both motors, one motor goes back and one motor goes forward. A swing turn is when you use one motor, one motor stays in place while the other starts running, that results in a turn. In a narrow hallway you will use a point turn because a point turn is a tight/narrow turn.

    ReplyDelete
  68. the difference between point turn and swing turn is that point turn is when one tire goes foward and the other one goes backward.Swing turn is when one tire goes foward and one is going no where. In a narrow hallway I would use a swing turn.

    ReplyDelete
  69. The difference between a swing turn and point turn is that a swing turn is when one motor is off when the other motor is on and going forward but a point turn is when both motors are running but one is going forward and the other is going backwards. the best turn to use in a narrow hallway would be a point turn. This is due to fact that a swing turn is a wider turn but a point turn is a thinner, smaller, narrower turn.

    ReplyDelete
  70. A swing turn is when one motor is still while the other motor is moving. A point turn is when one motor moves forward while the other motor goes backward. A point turn fits through because a swing turn needs more space to turn.

    ReplyDelete
  71. A swing turn is 3/4 of a turn and a point turn is a full turn. the best one to go down a narrow hall way is the point turn because a swing turn makes wider turn.

    ReplyDelete
  72. A point turn has both motors moving, but are moving in different directions. They also helped them stay in a specific area. A swing turn only has one motor moving. The best for a narrow hallway is a point turn because it takes less room and a swing turn takes more room.

    ReplyDelete
  73. A point turn is when motor c going backwards. A swing turn is when motor b is going forward. In A narrow hallway A swing turn is better.

    ReplyDelete
  74. a point turn is when a robot stays in one spot and turns ,but a swing turn when only one wheel moves. a point turn is good for in a narrow hallway because it uses less space to move.

    ReplyDelete
  75. the difference between a point and swing turn is that a point turn both wells tern difference derrecshins and a swing turn one whell but not the other. a point tern because it staes in the same spot.

    ReplyDelete
  76. In a swing turn one motor stays on and one stay off. A point turn one motor go forward and one backward. swing turn because u wont fly or get injured in your car.

    ReplyDelete
  77. a point turn both the weeals move and in the another one only one weeal moves they both turn and stay in the same place but one both the motors move but in the other one only one weeal moves

    ReplyDelete
  78. A swing turn uses only one wheel when a point turn uses both wheels. A point turn would be better because a swing turn is too wide of a turn.
